Avocado & Caviar Crispy Rice

  1. In a bowl, thoroughly rinse and wash the sushi rice until the water is clear when you drain it.

  2. Transfer the rice into your rice cooker. Add the water and Mizkan Sushi Seasoning to the rice and stir.

  3. As the rice cooks, stir it every now and then. Cook it for about 20-30 minutes or until the rice is soft.

  4. Tightly pack the rice into a pan and place it in the fridge for at least 2 hours- we recommend chilling it overnight for the best results.

  5. Once the rice is chilled, cut it into thick rectangles. About 3.5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide.

  6. Carefully heat up the canola oil in a pan or pot. Once hot, gently place the rice in the oil. Cook until the rice is golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.

  7. Place the rice on a paper towel once it is done cooking to soak up excess oil.

  8. Gently remove the avocado skin and cut it into slices.

  9. Add two avocado slices to each piece of crispy rice.

  10. Then add a heaping scoop of caviar on top of each crispy rice.

  11. Serve and enjoy right away!
